gender friendly dog groomers?

Hi my dog is confused about its gender and really doesn't like anyone saying "good boy" or "good girl" and also hates being called a dog... would there be gender friendly non judgemental dog groomers in the area? I just don't want my dog to suffer any more emotional trauma when getting groomed... (past bad expierance) in Footscray but I guess you get that in bogan suburbs..
