Yes, there is. I live along the river in Yeronga and my GP does house rounds for the elderly and he visits me once a month (I have social anxiety which prevents me from visiting a clinic). The suggestions for a locum (after hours doctor) is good advice but they will not replace a regular GP, as they will tell you themselves; they're there for when you're unable to visit your regular GP because it's, well, after hours.

I am hesitant in giving my GP's details out online but call around the clinics within driving distance of Yeronga (think of a pizza delivery catchment area and you'll get a rough idea of how far out to call), and ask to speak to the office manager/head receptionist.

Good luck!

Hi Jules,
There is a service called Brisbane After Hours Doctors I have attached a link to the website below, they do house calls but after hours only, I wouldn't ever use them if you had an emergency as there can be significant waiting times up to a few hours for them to arrive, however they bulk bill and provide a good service. I have used them for my little boy a number of times for things like ear infections or a rash etc. They will also issue scripts, administer pain relief and provide referrals for the hospital if it is something more serious.

Hope this helps.

Due to the close proximity to 2 major hospitals and great ambulance service it would be easier to head to the hospital. I'm unaware of any making house calls but do know you can get trained carers to call by.
