Reviews of Agnew Street, Norman Park
"We love Power and Agnew Streets"
We love Power and Agnew Streets. What we love is the strong sense of community from friendly neighbours and the views. Many Sunday nights the neighbours in Power street would gather for a drink, catch up and meet and greet. There is always good discussion on property. The children would all play. It was a ritual that you would drive home early from Noosa on the week end not to miss! When we moved out, this is what we missed the most and have never found since. There are many great close schools and a great bike track to the city.

"location, views and infustructure"
We spent years trying to buy into 'poets corner' in the hope of getting our children into one of Australia's best State primary schools. Moving to Agnew street was one of the best moves we ever made. We loved living in Bulimba but the traffic congestion and housing density was getting worse and Agnew street has carved a good 20 minutes off our daily commute into the city.
Now that our children are getting bigger they will be in walking distance to some of Brisbane's best secondary schools and the inner city tunnel will make visits to relatives in the north side a breeze.
We never get tired of the city and district views - Riverfire fireworks, hot air balloons, summer storms, even the careflight helicopters and the Gabba lights are good conversation starters.
With 8 major supermakets within a 5 km radius, Westfield Carindale and the City less than 10 minutes away, a cinema in walking distance and a gym at the end of the street - it doesnt get much better than this !
