"Considering Albert St? Don't do it."
I lived on Albert St for two years. Near the Dundas Street intersection there is a enormous industrial estate which pumped acrid pollution into the air regularly. There is a small but passionate group of locals fighting with the EPA to try and minimize the pollution. Consider double glazing if you want to get a good nights sleep, the trucks heading to the Hume make noise like jet engines. We had problems with stray cats, crazy neighbours, mice and wasps. Aside from that, a great place to live.
