Reviews of Albert Street, Port Melbourne
Looking for a home in Albert Street?
"Beats bo-ho Fitz-roy!"
Albert st is probably the best st. in Port after Alfred st, where I wish I lived. It's the next St. over. Always people out the front on their verandahs, drinking longnecks, watching the dog-fights. Port has the best hotels for take-aways: the Clare Castle, the Hibernian etc. Port Melbourne is not yet completely gentrified, although there a kind of secular cash madness going on round the foreshore where everyone has identical large houses, immaculate concrete driveways and black four-wheel-drives. So it's a write off- Glenn ridge's idea of paradise. Bay St. can be menacing at night, but if you've got the $$$ you won't catch yourself down there anyways. Come on over!!!!!

"Run of the mill Port Melbourne"
One way street, very colorful houses. On street parking is a big plus, and a few nicer houses here compared to some of the other streets in the area.

Watching dog fights? In Port Melbourne? Really??
Wow, can't say I have ever even heard of that! Agreed about the pockets of dollars in the suburb, there's some serious apartments going up here.
