Reviews of Beaconsfield Parade, Port Melbourne
"A busy beach side street with a lot to offer"
One the main streets in Port Melbourne, Beaconsfield Parade connects the suburbs with Albert Park and St Kilda. In summer, this street is ALIVE with people walking along the beaches with their dogs and families.
Only downside it that is can be a little noisy. While generally free flowing, there are always a number of motorcycles hooning up and down.
Other than that, it's a great street with beach views in Port Melbourne.

- Sunsets are amazing
Not great for
- Traffic sucks

Looking for a home in Beaconsfield Parade?
"rich people, ahoy"
Maybe if you're looking to pick up a sugar daddy (or mommy, I won't discriminate) it's a good place to hang out, but though it's not a private beach, it was nearly empty except for the wealthy dog walkers who live across the street or just around the corner. There's nearly no parking and there's a marina at the southeast end. It is very pretty, though.
To punish the rich people and abscond with their peace and quiet, I heartily recommend this for families with kids.

"What an amazing lifestyle this offers"
Beaconsfield Parade in Port Melbourne is about as good as it gets in terms of location. Considered to be one of the best strips in Melbourne, most of the apartment complexes and townhouses are all 1 million dollars and more. Although the strip is marred with high traffic, quite simply the location far outweights any negative aspects of living here.
Proximity to the beach is one of the best features with huge palm tress lining the street, and a huge plus for people living\renting on the strip. But moving on from the obvious is the proximity to fantastic restaurants, bars and shopping. The word that springs to mind when talking about Beaconsfield Parade is "Lifestyle". While some might not say it's the most practical place to live (mostly in terms of noise and traffic), it simply offers you the best lifestyle one can hope to have in Melbourne.
Imagine waking up to your oceanfront views, having breakfast on Bay Street at the local cafe, and then walking your dog on the beach in front of your house, accompanied with a swim and an ice cream...all within walking distance of your house. This is truly living.
