Can anyone suggest an area that is safe, clean and relatively quiet to live?

I'd check out Thurgoona - its got a lot of new housing estates with large, neat suburban blocks. It's very safe and family friendly with great outdoor spaces and sporting facilities like the Thurgoona tennis club and golf club. Thurgoona plaza is good for day to day essentials but you'll want to drive into Albury on occasion for more specialty shopping or for large department stores like Kmart, Myer, Target, JB Hi Fi etc.

See if you can afford thurgoona.
Otherwise be careful. Lots of bad areas here.

Albury is a great place to live. We have a townhouse that will be available to rent in central Albury in a couple of weeks time if you're still looking to move to Albury. It's within Walking distance to the Main Street and there are 4 townhouses on the block. One which is privately owned. They are very secure townhouses with everyone looking out for each other. $415 a week.

Albury is a wonderful place to live. We experience four seasons of good weather and have an abundance of natural tourist attractions right on our door stop. Local schools, doctors, transport and shopping is in abundance and there are plenty of great restaurants and clubs to choose from for great dining.

Every suburb in Albury has desirable and less desirable pockets to live in with property ranging from entry level prices right up to million dollar homes. Ask your local Ray White agent for a good recommendation on a particular property and you will find that you will get a very honest and concise answer without any misguided representation.
