Riverside estate in Killara is a beautiful location if you're looking to build a new home - although it doesn't have a lot in the way of shopping or facilities in my view. Its about a 10 minute drive into Wodonga for these types of needs. Some parts of Glenroy are a little run down and can be a bit dodgy, although the housing estates like Norris Park are probably ok. I'd also check out Thurgoona which has a lot of nice new housing estates and is very safe and family friendly.

Hi Chiv, depending on where you really want to live, Glenroy NSW has some great family areas such as Norris Park estate, high levels of family living.
Killara is also a beautiful spot to raise a family.

Both areas have good quality, large family homes, if you need any further info please contact me
