Reviews of Annie Street, Wickham
"Inner City Industrial Chic"
If you are fortunate enough to buy or lease a converted warehouse on Annie, you will have hit the jackpot! There are several workshops on this street that are undergoing uber-trendy residential transformations. It is a fairly busy street during business hours as there are a lot of businesses including mechanics workshops and factories here consequently traffic is constant and quite noisy as it if often trucks and heavy machinery. Ample street parking. Most facilities are nearby and walking distance. The location itself is just fantastic and is what will have you sold as it is within walking distance to the Newcastle CBD, nearby port and moments from the bustling Hamilton. Wickham enjoys very healthy returns thanks to this CBD proximity. Only major downfall I experience was a rodent infestation. I would not recommend this area for young families (bear in mind this is moments from Islington which has earned itself quite a reputation over the years) but this would be ideal for professional singles and/or couples.
