As a student in Armidale, how hard is it to gain part time/casual work?
I am considering moving to Armidale in 2016 to attend the University of New England, and I was wondering how difficult it would be to gain a part time job (in order to support myself). Thanks.

Honestly, it can be really hard. I've got friends (and myself) who struggled to find work for months, and some still aren't successful. Depending where you end up with the work, it can help get more work, or sometimes is just a dead-end.
It depends on your work history (resume) and who you know. You can apply to work at UNE as a student casual (these have great pay rates). If you get work at UNE it does make it easier to get more work at UNE.
