I'm a professional and moving to Armidale. Is it a nice place to live?

I"m going to the university and I want sea change from Brisbane to Armidale. I have lived in country towns most of my life. I'm a writer and I need a positive place to keep writing. I will be moving with my adult son.

Armidale is a fantastic place to live. I have been here almost three years and have found the people to be warm and friendly. I love the seasons here though winter is cold so you need to invest in a good winter wardrobe.
