"It's losing it's charm - no longer has that rural feel."
Used to be a great little town. Some shops are super friendly, some not so much. Over the last year or so it's getting noticeably more crowded. Too many subdivisions being approved, it no longer has the rural feel. We have all the inconveniences of rural living, but no longer any of the benefits. It's becoming an overpriced, overcrowded 'suburb' - nothing special. There are much better places, more realistically priced, closer to Launceston.

"Small friendly town"
Beaconsfield is a great little town to live in with lots of old time charm, affordable housing and reasonable driving distance to Launceston city. Has a main street with cafes, 2 x iga's, doctors, pharmacy, churches, post office etc. Also has a good local primary school and council hub
