What are the god areas in Bendigo anyway????

Honestly, that's not as easy a question to answer as I would hope it to be. There are - of course - some areas that, especially historically, have done it tougher socio-economically than others. But even within suburbs, there can be some beautiful pockets of tranquility and sanity. In general, I'd be a little mindful of certain areas of Long Gully, Eaglehawk, and even where I live in Kangaroo Flat. But what I would say is that the last couple of years are bring a lot of voluntary exiles from Melbourne CBD into Bendigo and its surrounds and this is visibly lending itself to a good injection of capital and gentrification in some of these areas that historically might not have been as desirable as they are fast becoming.
