Campbell Road, Canning Vale, WA 6155

Campbell Road splits the main residential area of Canning Vale between Warton and Nicholson Roads from Garden Street to Ranford Road and beyond, into the new estate of Glenariff. Despite it being a thoroughfare, Campbell Road living isn't that bad, with many quality homes lining either side of the street and a footpath one side. It does get busy a couple of times a day - predominantly the classic morning and afternoon work/school peak hour, so you may have to wait a few minutes to exit your driveway. Campbell Primary School is located on this road and kids are able to ride safely to school on the footpath, with intermediary pedestrian crossings available at the roundabouts. Campbell Primary School has a crosswalk attendant for school children and the 40km school speed zone is well monitored by the attendant and police presence from time to time, so be sure to adhere to the built-up area speed restrictions. Most people already living on Campbell Road say they are happy there and the traffic noise is limited, despite its busy periods. A Transperth bus route travels the road, as well as the Carey College school bus. The Ranford shops are accessible from Campbell Road. There is also a large public open space with a walkway on the corner of Campbell and Amherst Roads, as well as the commencement of the Brookland Greens nature reserve on the opposite corner. Kelly's Cafe and All Palms nursery is located on the corner of Campbell and Birnam Roads, with Campbell Primary School situated on the corner of Campbell and Comrie Roads. The Gosnells Golf Course backs onto Campbell Road at the intersection of both Sandringham Promenade and Ranford Road. Probably not the best location for young children simply due to the main road, although many families do reside here and have no issues.
