Just around the corner from my investment property (it was my principle residence for 2 years, too) this area backs onto a really nice bush and parkland reserve, has easy access to and from the Brooker Hwy for quick trips to the CBD or quick escape to out of town. The neighbours are generally good, the grocery shopping choices are pretty good, ranging from Glenorchy, through Claremont Village to Covehill at Bridgewater. There are fantastic views of the mountain and south to the city and the Derwent estury is just round the corner for those who like boating, fishing or walks on the foreshore. Cyclists are well catered for, too, with the Intercity Cycleway running from Claremont Village to the CBD.
