"Pretty safe area on the outskirts of Geelong"
I've only just moved here. I used to live in Portarlington. Despite its closeness to Newcomb and Whittington, it feels like one of Geelong's safer suburbs. Still, it'll take you an eternity to commute to Melbourne which is what I like doing because I'm a youngster who needs excitement. Even though I'm just a tenant, my neighbours seem to mean well. They don't seem antagonistic at all. They got little kids who still rant and rave regularly. I can walk around in the evening without feeling threatened too.
