JVS...LOOK OUT! Apple is opening this weeke!!
I think CompNow will be in A LOT of trouble. I know that the genius bar in the Apple stores is fantastic.
Very very exciting for us Apple fanboys. Not sure what I need to buy, but I'm sure I will find something.
The Apple Store is fantastic, I realise it doesnt have alot of new product but it does offer great support with the Genius bar (which always seems to be heavily booked) and you are able to use any of the Apple product without being hassled by sales staff.
Apple's marketing department is brilliant - giving free classes to people on how to use Macs, so many over 40's trying out OSX for the first time. Call it hype - but it seems to work.
Only downside, when you want to pay for something it can take a while for staff to see you - they seem to be focused on helping people using Mac's, there are no obvious cash register/payment areas.
