It should take approximately 10 - 12min to go to the city from Doncaster if you take the Eastern Freeway. However, in peak hour traffic in the morning, it's good to go through Doncaster Road and through Kew which will get you to the city in 20-25min in peak hour traffic.
Doncaster is within all close amenities and perfect to get to the city whether it is by bus or car. Doncaster Westfield has all the bus stops, which will take you to the CBD or airport.
