KIDS

Hi guys

I have just moved here, and I have 2 small boys aged 2 and 3 years. I am looking for ideas and places where I can take my kids in the week to keep them busy and get them out of the house. I live in Templestowe, Doncaster.

Please send any ideas, i am open to anything.

Thank you

Hi Ravyn,

I grew up in Doncaster, so I know the area like the back of my hand. I'm currently living in Templestowe so I know it even better!

Ok, so the best part of both include:

Ruffey Lake Park - This is in Templestowe and is a great park to take the kids for an afternoon walk, BBQ, afternoon on the kids playground etc. The lake in the middle of the park is what makes is special. It's not overwhelmingly large, but big enough for the kids to really have a great day.

Westerfolds Park - Again this is a rather large park that would be good for the kids. I personally prefer Ruffey Lake park, just because is seems a bit more manageable, but Westerfolds is still great if you want a more "Nature" filled experience

Pancake Parlour - Is a fantastic kid friendly restaurant that I personally have very fond memories of. It has great food for the kids, and has a great little action wall that dances and comes to life every hour. It's located at 550 Doncaster Rd, Doncaster and the phone number is 98486836

I'll see if I can think of anymore for you.

i dont know how to put up links...lol...but there is a great new park near the templestowe scouts hall...if you are travelling from the pines towards high street on foote street/Reynolds rd.....turn a right on high street and you will almost drive into it....
sorry but my instructions are bizarre...i know where i am but not too familiar with names and what not...i just know how to get there...lol...
the park itself offers a flying fox, mini maze, and some great equipment my kiddos are 5 and 3 and they love it...

Hi Tempy,

To post links, you simply copy and paste a URL and it will be picked up.

I couldn't really find the park you were talking about though? Where on this map would it be?
