Where should I live if working in Doncaster?
Doncaster, VIC 3108 is located within the Manningham local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Im a single woman, no kids, considering a move for a job in Doncaster. I love theatre, shows, walking, swimming and dining. Should I consider moving to Doncaster or another suburb and travelling to work. Im from Balmain, Sydney. I dont want expensive rent and only need a maximum of 2 beds to rent but love a garden and gardening. I need to rent until I can save for my own place. Im just wondering if I should be closer to the city for all the lifestyle things that are important to me and meeting people and wanted advice from locals.

Hi ginam8, so much depends on what sort of lifestyle you are after? If you are working in Doncaster, you could live closer to the city and not really be concerned with peak hour traffic (because it would be the reverse direction). I know it was a while ago, what did you decide on doing?
