Are there a lot of snakes around backyards and parks?

Eltham is a large area and I would expect in some of the bush areas of Eltham, there would be a small amount of snakes although we have sold multiple properties in these areas and vendors haven't mentioned any issues with snakes, even in the outer areas.

A lot is reflective of the surrounding areas with regard to wood stacks where snakes can take refuge and where properties (in particular large properties) are not maintained.

I have lived in the local area my whole life and haven't seen one but that's not saying there not out there.
