If you don't mind the extra couple of minutes drive, this little hideaway in Pelican Waters offers peace and quiet in a friendly cul-de-sac. Francis Court is surrounded by the Club Pelican golf course and therefore will not be impacted by future plans for development including railway corridor and higher density activity near Pelican Waters shopping centre. On one side of the street are lake view homes and on the other side houses back onto bushland which provides a buffer from the 14th hole (par 3). Average block size is around 1000sqm. A walk around the golf course (2nd nine) during the early morning is a must with a beautiful bush setting finished off by the appearance of local kangaroos - access is via the walkway at the end of Mahogony Drive or via your back gate if you live on the bushland side of the road. The drive in is at first a little off putting but within a week it is no longer an issue with the drive going quickly - takes about five minutes to get to the Caloundra road/Nicklin hwy roundabout. The restaurant at Club Pelican golf course is great for lunch and the Crowne Plaza Hotel restaurant provides a really nice dinner option. The hotel also has a private gym which gives you access to tennis courts and lap pool. Caloundra City School (private) is also within walking distance and is a great community focal point. Pelican Waters shopping centre has Coles, butcher, fishmonger, fruit & veg, hairdresser, newsagent, doctor, pharmacy, jeweller, homewares etc.
