"Good for kids"
I've lived in Froude St for 5 years after moving from Sydney and I think its a pretty good street!
When we first moved here there were a lot of kids who played in the park all the time, there doesn't seem to be that many anymore, but we have had a few families move out. The park has swings & a basketball ring. When we first moved here the park wasn't fenced and the kids used to run out on the road chasing balls. The park now has a fence which runs along the lower (sloping end) and half way up one side - just enough to slow the kids down!
Besides families there are a lot of retirees in the street as well. Its a fairly quiet street and very little crime. However there are a couple of hoons who speed up the street mainly, at night (when children are in bed) and there are some revheads in neighbouring streets with noisy cars/motorbikes. But its still a lot quieter and safer than Sydney.
Everyone is friendly and every year there is a Christmas party in the park.
It would be good to have some more families in the street and see the kids using the park more.
