"Express Route"
George town Road has Pro's and Con's depending on what you like and are use too. Good points are that once you are on George Town Road, you have a direct route with easy flowing traffic to the Launceston CBD if heading south, George Town in the opposite direction as well as the East and north East Coast. Very busy road during the day quietens throughout the night. Homes are affordable whether renting or buying and the closest built up suburb with most conveniences is Mowbray (3 minute drive). Generally homes are around 50 years old in the area with a few exceptions. Within Walking distance of the Tasmanian University and Maritime College, high schools and primary schools.
