Reviews of Gladstone Avenue, Kilburn

"All Things Considered 'Tis A Good Avenue....."

On the Western end of Churchill Rd and Gladstone Ave is a terrible looking Pink Auto Wreckers building and a welcoming brew-it-urself establishment. On the corner of Prospect Rd and Gladstone Ave is a discount chemist and a mediocre pub. In between there are perfectly nice houses, people and a park. A few houses on the street have been there since the 1920s when Kilburn was called Chicago. Community centre is located on the Eastern end of Gladstone which is quite popular.

Great for

  • Quiet Street
  • Friendly, Kind Neighbours
  • Distance to Jack Watkins Reserve/Dog park

Not great for

  • Idiots tend to dump TVs on the Western end, even though council remove hard rubbish for free....
  • Could do with a few more trees in the street
  • A couple of cheap/terrible looking houses on subdivided blocks...they look like crap
