"Perfect for professional couple or young family"
Gladstone, Cuming, King & Ballara Streets are the quiet 'flagship' streets of Mile End with lots of street parking, friendly neighbours and an absence of traffic flow (its hard to use this area of Mile End for cut-throughs to/from South Road from James Congdon Drive). For those new to the area it takes 20 minutes to walk to work in the city and there is a park within 2 minutes to take the pups for a run. The South Park lands are only 10 minutes walk and can be accessed by tunnel under the train line. There are more europpean cars on the street now than we have seen in the last 5 years so other people are realising the quality of lifestyle you can have here. Its safe, well lit and the footpaths are in good repair for night or early morning walks & runs. We know two families on Gladstone Road who have returned to be close to their aging parents who also reside in the area - an indication of the integrity of these residents.

Not great for
- Council needs to spend more money on streetscaping
- Some renters could do with lessons on using a lawnmower for their front yards.
- Still get the odd hoon that likes to drive through in his old commodore to liven up the area!
