Advice on best areas for living at Gold Coast

Hi, Iam moving to the Gold Coast with my little 3 y.o. daughter. Really need help from anyone who have ever had an experience living in Gold Coast? What is the best and affordable area for families these days? Looking for something piece full and safe. Very appreciate for any advice.
