Moving to Gold Coast from Melbourne - need advise on area suitable for young family

We are looking to move next year and need advise on what suburb suitable to raise a young family with good school and amenities. We are living in Moonee Ponds/ Essendon area in Melbourne and our children are attending Catholic primary school at the moment and would like a similar area for our family, obviously away from tourists area but still close to good shops and good schools. We are looking into Robina and Burleigh Heads, are these good suburbs for family?
Thank you

Both good areas. Burleigh Heads is more your Moonee Ponds and Robina more like Niddrie/Airport West ;)
