Wanting to move to Gold Coast to live but am totally confused on which suburb.

Wanting a nice quiet area. Not any further that 25mins from Surfers. Close to transport, shops, beaches etc.
Was looking at Coomera but have been turned off buy the reviews.
Really need some help please!
