Hi Trevor
Your question is an interesting one because Council rates vary within Hope Island Resort & surrounding precincts of Hope Island. You will need to check out which area you wish to purchase in. Generally speaking rates are less in the gated communities, as the Body Corporate levies cover the maintenance of roads & the collection of rubbish etc. They can be as little as $1126 per anum for an apartment in Stillwater to $2400 for a property in Riverleigh Dve or $1800 for a property in Rosebank & they can vary even within each precinct. Pays to ask before you buy :) If I can assist any further, feel free to give me a call.

Hello! Just wondering why the properties churn so frequently in Riverleigh Drive?

I would also definitely check out the water charges also. When we were at Sanctuary Cove they were astronomical as we were charged commercially. Unsure whether this is unchanged or the same at Hope Island but I'm sure it will pay to receive an old water bill to check as this was a huge shock for us.
