Is Sanctuary Cove a good place to live?

My husband and I are retirees in our mid 50's. The kids have flown the coop. We're considering a move to Sanctuary Cove as the relaxed lifestyle and beautiful surroundings are appealing. I'd be interested in current opinions on what it's like to live there; whether the body corporates work well (i.e. effectively and cooperatively); and whether some parts of the Cove are "better" than others. I prefer elevation to waterfront, although my husband thinks otherwise. Thanks in advance for responding to my post.

Hi Kathleen
Being a real estate agent, and having moved on average every 2 years of my life (occupational hazard!), I have finally settled down in Hope Island Resort which has a very similar lifestyle to Sanctuary Cove. My family has now been in the same home for 7 years. This in itself is not only a record, but a testament to the wonderful environment of both Hope Island & Sanctuary Cove (They are literally next door to each other). Life in these resorts is all about lifestyle. You can ride a buggy to the shops and restaurants, you can participate in organised activities if you wish, you can become a golf club enthusiast or boatie if you wish. There are many like minded, social people here. Security is outstanding as are the well maintained facilities & parklands.
I am a commitee member on our Body Corporate and would recommend that you "get involved".
Highly recommend visiting us to see what properties are available to meet your requirements - there are even properties available with golf & water views to suit you both!
Look forward to maybe welcoming you one day?
Warm regards
Ruth Fea
