We are looking at renting a house on Second Avenue, Maylands (or according to agent East Mt Lawley) is this a safe and nice area for families? Where are the homes west locations in Maylands? Thanks.

Your best action would be to take a drive around the area. There are a lot of flats in Maylands and these would be more likely to have the homeswest tenants. Some are large blocks and others smaller, but most of the Avenues are pretty good in Mt Lawley, Maylands and Inglewood- you can see the style of houses and make a judgement.
