Anybody been to Alluvial restaurant at Intercontinental?
Melbourne (CBD), VIC 3000 is located within the Melbourne local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Was thinking of taking some interstaters out to dinner and was thinking of the new Intercontinental Hotel at Rialto. They have opened a restaurant called Alluvial.
Has anybody been and tested it out?
There's not much info on their website http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/intercontinental/en/gb/locations/hotel-features/dining/restaurants/melbourne

They mention the decor before the menu - always a bad sign! Take them to Becco or Movida.

Yes, getting in is best done as a couple and sitting at the bar. How about Mini, Cumulus Inc or Bottega?

I can now update this post - I have been to Alluvial for lunch, I had the buffet and can report is was great. A good selection of fish, pasta, antipastas - deserts where a little lean however we did show up quite late. All in all, I would go back. And reasonably priced.
