Melbourne (CBD), VIC 3000 is located within the Melbourne local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
Just saw this amazing map showing all road fatalities in the state for this year. Victoria Police Traffic and Transit Safety Department have created it. Sad to see so many, hits home when you know the street or it's near your home.

To be perfectly honest, I thought there would be more? Is anyone else surprised by this? Perhaps I'm just used to America's MDK ratio.
