Water restrictions - is Stage 4 coming?

It was the driest September in history and October has not been much better. Surely they will have to go to Stage 4 - which means absolutely zero watering. All gardens will die.

ALL GARDENS WILL DIE!!!!

In all honestly I have heard as much media attention about the water restriction that in previous years. Aren't our dams fuller that last year?

In the Age today we're being told to only use 155 litres per person a day. I think I can do that, but can everyone? http://www.theage.com.au/national/melburnians-urged-to-cut-water-use-20081124-6f46.html

I know someone very close to me who has 15 minutes showings....MINIMUM! I think that person will have to change their ways, or face some very heavy penalties.

It sounds a lot 155 litres, let alone 165 litres. Line up 155 water bottes, each 1 litres each, and that is what i go through each day? Is that right? Perhaps this includes gardening?

I have no idea how the government comes up with their personal use stats. I dont feel like we waste water but our monthly usage is almost double what the water company says we should be using.

What - no daily baths for the kids? No washing kids clothes? No dishwasher?

I'd love to meet a family with three kids that meet the expected allowance.
