What suburb should I stay in when visiting Melbourne for a week?
Melbourne (CBD), VIC 3000 is located within the Melbourne local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I'm 33, in the tech startup scene, like dive bars, want to be in a place that's very walkable... where would you recommend staying?

St Kilda or Melbourne CBD. Both have fantastic access to all areas and both have great bar scenes. I personally would St Kilda just because it's closer to the beach.

Hi there,
Melbourne CBD would be a great option. All train stations are easily accessible so you can get to an from with ease. If you log into booking.com there is an endless amount of accomodation to rent in Melbourne CBD at affordable prices.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
