I have never seen any break-in or theft incident in crime-watch report for Mitchell Park, while surrounding suburbs are listed regularly. It is may be because of the Sturt Police Station's position in 2min distance. In addition to that it is close to Marion Shopping Centre, Close to Flinders University & Flinders Hospital, Close to Beach and many others

It is close to all most all social, cultural and educational facilities. Flinders University and Hospital just on a five minutes drive, Marion Cultural Centre, Marion Shopping Centre and newly constructed Marion Swimming Centre are just a few to add in, there’s lot more in this suburb. I’ve lived for ten years in this suburb and have enjoyed my time with friendly and lovely neighbourhood. And I just don’t want to move anywhere else!!! This is a suburb positioned well for main transport routes to and from the CBD. Brighton and Glenelg Beaches are not far from here.

I've lived here for about 5 years and really enjoy being close to everything, yet on a quiet street where there is only local residents traffic. Our neighbours are friendly and our street has a mixture of retirees, families and young couples. Mainly good size yards although alot of subdivision happening in the suburb these days.

We love being close to the big park at Mitchell Park, lots of trees and birds and plenty of space. Great bike tracks nearby for exercise and the swimming centre being built there. Just a short drive to get to the beach, or the city and transport links are good - just a walk to Marion/Tonsley stations or the bus. Marion shopping centre is handy and a few mins drive away for all the conveniences. Close to Flinders hospital when you need it and to Flinders Uni.
