"A veriety of local cafes & restaurants"

Approximately 18 kilometres east of the CBD is the suburb of Nunawading. Nunawading is a friendly, multicultural area, with a diverse mixture of 50s character houses to modern family homes and sleek apartments, there is something for everyone! Some of the schools in Nunawading include Nunawading Christian College, Mount Pleasant Primary School, St Phillips Primary School and Whitehorse Primary School. Nunawading is home to the new Community Hub, a refurbished heritage school building offering a place where everyone can come together to embrace new opportunities for socialising, learning, and getting active. Nunawading has its own train station, one of the larger metropolitan stations in the Eastern suburbs. Being only 18kms from the CBD, there is easy access to the Eastern Freeway getting you into the City within 30 minutes. A variety of local cafes and restaurants are sure to impress. While the suburb is largely residential, there is a huge strip of retailers on Whitehorse Road including Home HQ featuring furniture and electrical stores, such as The Good Guys, Fantastic Furniture, Harvey Norman, JB HIFI and Bunnings. There are also a number of gyms and health clubs, Brandsmart outlet shopping centre and the Whitehorse Council offices. Also close by to both Doncaster Shopping Town and Eastland for the more serious shoppers!

"A suburb to call home"

Nunawading is the place to be! Easy access to everywhere, safe neighbourhood, many cafe and restaurant options within few minutes walk or drive.
There are lots of parks for exercises and dogs to have a nice run with other pups.
I’d recommend this beautiful suburb to young professionals like us!

"Central, friendly and multicultural"

Nunawading has many different areas to it, from beautiful tree lined streets with plenty of families, to streets lined with units near the station, plus lots of new apartments popping up close to main roads/public transport.

As a Property Management specialist in Nunawading the rental return is good and vacancies are quite low , especially for units within walking distance to the train station.

The train station has been recently upgraded, but parking is still lacking. Bus links also head all over and you're only minutes drive to the Eastern Freeway or Eastlink.

Overall a lovely area with good transports, shops and a great multi cultured environment.

"Nunawading is set to grow!"

A 15 minute drive along the freeway takes you to the city. Close to Doncaster, Blackburn, Box hill. The area is changing rapidly. Houses being renovated. New homes replacing old homes. A fantastic new primary school being built in Springfield Road - it will have world class facillities!

New train station is wonderful. Trainline goes under Sprinvale Road now so the traffic flow is much improved.

A new Aldi store is going to built in Nunwading. There is a DFO. Freedom furniture, Bunnings, and list just goes on. Shopping is great. And there are many places to provide all that is needed for renovations.

Cheaper to buy or rent in this area that Blackburn but just as good and only one train stop away!
