Is there any nightlife in Ormeau? i.e. nice bars/restaurants... and what is the crime level like?

I agree with jo9999, not a great deal of nightlife options, but both pubs are good and worth a try.

Nightlife - Shearers Arms pub, and Norfolk Tavern are the choices. Both are nice enough, not sure they're what you would call nightlife though lol. There is also a Thai restaurant, and that is about it.
Crime isn't a problem here, have heard of the odd petty crime but I consider the area safe.
