I am planning to immigrate to Portarlington.
I intend immigrating to Australia and I have chosen Portarlington, Victoria. Have i made the right choice? In terms of quality of life, availabilty of job (agriculture consultant/scientist), affordability, outdoor avtivities and primary school for my 4year old daughter and My spouse as a Dietician

Hell no! You've moved to the sticks. Portarlington has less amenities than Australia's big cities including Melbourne and Sydney. I reckon many of the people who live here have scars where their second head got removed as well. Though if you enjoy either fishing, swimming or both then you've probably made the right decision
