Pottsville, NSW 2489

Having lived in Potty for 3 years I can safely say its heaven on earth. Surrounded by beautiful nature (particuarly in Koala beach) never more than a 3 minute drive from the beach and a community that rivals any in Australia. If you are looking for a place where its safe to bring up children and they have lots to see and do all closeby then Pottsville is definately a great option. Many homes bought for around $500k back in 2014 have since reached $700k as the town continues to grow and new ammenities are put in place (high school) it will probably grow further.

Pottsville has a great Neighbourhood centre to help all the Community, a fantastic market every 2 weeks, a big medical centre and pharmacy as well as cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, fruit shop, butcher and bakery. The area is fantastic for kids, with loads of open spaces, sports grounds, tennis courts, bike paths. McKenzie Avenue in the Pottsville Waters area is very family friendly street in the quiet part of Pottsville, close to the reserve, beach and estuary. Houses are low set brick with well maintained gardens. The neighbours are sociable and helpful. We love living in Pottsville and would recommend it to anyone wanting to live in a small community.

Super town with great beaches, perfect for surfing, fishing and all types of outdoor activities. Pottsville is close to major towns namely Tweed heads/ Coolangatta and Byron 25min, yet far enough away to escape from it all. Great place to raise a family or retire, very friendly people with good sense of community. Heaps of eating out options and these are only increasing more as it becomes more trendy. Superb creek and canal system teeming with fish great for a snorkel. Will certainly be one of the spots to increase in value in the future.

Not too far from Tweed and Byron. Pottsville has a beautiful estuary and miles of beach.

Close to everything you need. Beautifully quiet and walkable tothe beach. Love the place and will never move.
P.S. Try the Food - Thai, Burgers and the smoothies are delicious.

beautiful beach & estuaries, friendly people, great place only a short drive to Byron or Tweed, definitely going to get popular soon a people tire of the gold coast but still want the climate, beach & proximity, only 25 mins to Coolangatta airport.

Love Pottsville!!!!!

Pretty and laid-back but miles from anywhere. Pottsville is in desperate need of a decent supermarket and infrastructure so that locals don't have to travel the 30km or so to Tweed Heads. Many like the little town like this (until they call the Police and have to wait). It's a nice, relaxed town on the Tweed Coast where properties have a cheaper price tag - this attracts young families but they soon tire of the constant driving as there's really not much at Pottsville.

Affordable family living, close to Beaches and centrally located to all services.

Quiet, friendly, beach side suburb. Good for families.
