Area is built up and has formal residential development. Houses in area are predominantly Victorian style and mostly timber in construction.
Area has moderate slope and land is primarily use for residential and train catching purposes. The land pattern is varied and so is the size and shape of the land allotments. Public transport is a good choice. Shops are available close by on burwood road. Streets are local and traffic is limited
