Redland state school, Good or Bad choice?

Looking to move into the area in January 2016 and want to know if we are making the right decision. We are moving from Auckland NZ and I will be working in Logan. Was looking at upper Coomera but Redland Bay is looking more appealing. Any advice would be great. Thanks
