"Unsafe area to live"
Hi there
I did prac here in Airds and this street is somewhat unsafe. The police are always on the lookout for drug busts and people hang around the street in groups.

Airds isnt that unsafe. Ive lived here almost my whole life, 20 years, and you hear about drama but Ive never seen it or been the victim of / been involved in anything. I walked to and from school every day and to and from the shops and never saw any crime. Yes people hang out in groups but thats how people socialise here. There is crime everywhere, i wouldnt walk around airds late at night(i wouldnt walk anywhere late at night) but i dont think the streets any less safe than anywhere else.

I agree. I think airds reputation is more scary than the area actually is.
