"Off the main road and close to the bus stop"
My grandparents live here and it is quiet and peaceful. The park is across the road and not many cars come up this way. It is close to a few bus stops and the houses are of reasonable size

"Long street with different vibes"
The beginning of Evelyn St starts from the Dprt of Housing, where the first few houses are Housing Commission. We then have the Evelyn St Neighbourhood Store, which are reasonably priced and sell essentials like milk and bread and take away food. Further along the road is houses on a 50k/h road but people dont follw the speed limit as it is a stretch of road. At the end of the road is the semi selective Macquarie Fields High School, which has one the of the best reputations in the area

"Quiet but away from essentials"
My friend lives over here
This street is on the border of Casula and Lurnea. The drive to Casula Mall or Lurnea shops isn't far, however you need to go to the Hume Highway for petrol. There are a mixture of townhouses and houses and is suitable for young couples starting out

"Nice and quiet with nice houses"
The houses around here are very nice. Westfields Sports High school is right down the road as well as Aldi and a petrol station. About 3-4 min drive to the Cumberland Highway...

In the streetview above, all the houses look fantastic. I'm not so sure it was ex housing commission.
"No go internet"
It's just the st off mine. A pretty good st. Downside is the wireless network, tower is located on Victoria Road and its a weak connection

"Quiet little cul de sac in Birds Estate"
My aunty and cousins live here. The houses are approx 20yo in the Birds Estate. This is a quiet street with very minimal traffic. The buses are on the main rouad which is a 5-10min walk. The shops are also about a 15min walk. The RSL is 10min away and there is no trouble from there. It is also close to the oval where children can play soccer..

"Nice street with newer houses"
My friend lives in this street and it is very nice and quiet. It is one of those streets where you can have your children play at the front without worrying. The neighbours are a mixture of all ages. Only downside is the street is narrow and if you try to get out of the street from Flowerdale, the traffic to get onto that road is heavy and is best to get out through Memorial Ave

"Overall a good street"
This is the main road of Eagle Vale and we just live off this street. Leads off into Claymore. The houses are newer houses and lead into the older ones as you go along the road. The road has many shortcuts thru to parks and walkways and does not take a long time to go to the shopping centre if walking.

"Unsafe area to live"
Hi there
I did prac here in Airds and this street is somewhat unsafe. The police are always on the lookout for drug busts and people hang around the street in groups.
Airds isnt that unsafe. Ive lived here almost my whole life, 20 years, and you hear about drama but Ive never seen it or been the victim of / been involved in anything. I walked to and from school every day and to and from the shops and never saw any crime. Yes people hang out in groups but thats how people socialise here. There is crime everywhere, i wouldnt walk around airds late at night(i wouldnt walk anywhere late at night) but i dont think the streets any less safe than anywhere else.
"Central to everything"
This is a good street. You are close to everything - childcare, trains buses and shops. Shops are only a small walk away and its an ethnic community. Inly downnside is that you can't cross over the Hume Highway with the car and you have to detour

Hey CypKitty thanks for the excellent reviews you've been writing - local traffic tips are very useful!
"A bit narrow but a good street"
It's clse to the private school for K-6's and close to the shops as well. Has a park near by and can walk to everything

"Boyd"
Nestled on the border of Eagle Vale and Claymore, it seems a little bit unsafe, but not much! There are new houses there now to buy. Buses always run thru this area and it's close to Eagle Vale High

"Too narrow"
Very narrow street. Near Ingleburn RSL and Housing Commission so not that safe. Feels boxed in as well

"A bit on the trafficy side"
10 minutes walk from Westfields! And the train station is right there as well. The downside is the noise/traffic
"OK street"
When we were looking for a house, we saw one in this street. It's a narrow street and there are walkways as well which have not been mowed in a long time. This street also seems a bit unsafe
"Quiet street"
Contrary to what people think of Macquarie Fields, this is a nice street to live in. The houses are new and children can play in the street. Bus is right thru the park as well

Sadlier Crescent Fairfield west is an ex housing commission street.
The homes in this street all look similar and thats because they where built for government housing
