Why did the Marapana Wildlife Park close down?

Ahh.. because the owner of the land got offered several mil to sell it to a sand mining company. Apparently he was sitting on a fortune so the park had no chance

Wondered what happened it anyhow our kids loved it, well Marapana loss is ours and Peel Zoos gain.

Im sure it was because they were hooking out the animals it was in the paper. Or was it peel zoo? I have been trying to find the article. For someone and have only been finding this. Some told me they covered it up. I was thinking nar, but seems they were right

This wasn't marapana. The land was sold and they were given 30 days to shift all the animals off the property.... I was working there at the time
