Part of the new estate with underground power. Quiet street with excellent neighbour hood watch. We have 5 neighbours who are close friends. We have lived here for about 11 years since the redevelopment and have noticed throughout the years via local paper the extremely low crime rate with alot of weeks with no crime reported. At times there would be 1 breakin in Lockridge and at the same time the surrounding neighbourhoods would have between 5-15 . Personally I've had no problems. Two quality parks nearby with one only 1 minute walk. A brand new school within 5 min walk. 1 minute walk to bus. Short drive to 3 main neighbourhood shopping centres and local deli's, lunchbar, newagent , local taverns, Large leisure centre with gym,indoor swimming pool, arobics, basket ball, karate classes and other classes and a library. Next door there is a golf course. The council is initiating activities to promote a close community. You are only 10 minutes drive from midland central,galleria shopping centre and malaga markets and its commercial area. Half hour drive along reid hwy and your at the beach. 15-20 minutes drive and your in Perth city( only 12 km away) Swan vally on your door step. What more could you ask for and with 11 years here, you can see what keeps us here.
