Personally, I would probably refrain from living on St Georges Road if I had a family, it can get quite loud as there is a lot of traffic along that road in peak hour traffic. Although it has the tram line on your door step, also very close lots of shopping precincts, such as The Preston Market and Westgarth Shopping Precinct. So it really depends on your requirements.
