Are came toads a problem on Russell island. Worried for my dog. Tx

There are toads in most temperate regions in Australia. I must say, having lived on Russell for a good number of years now, there are not very many here compared to several mainland areas. I think, not being an expert, that your chances might be better on Russell Island. Talk to Tracy at Lovable Pets about training your dog to stay away from toads. It can be done, particularly when they are younger. FD

I have seen very few cane toads, in my yard at least in 7 years of living here, but they are here. Ticks are more of a problem. You have to be very vigilant with those. I have known of a few people who have lost there animals to ticks over here
