Russell Island, QLD 4184 is located within the Redland local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
Hi am making plans to move back to aus in late April after 12 long years elsewhere. I have a house being built on Russell island and as I start to research Im getting bogged down in ads so thought I would ask my soon to be neighbors who provides best mobile coverage and internet services on the island?
My phone needs are pretty basic with national calls to fixed and mobile numbers but with internet I need a good stable environment. I use it to do a lot of research for business stream music and movies and rely heavily on voip services for maintaining contact with overseas mostly USA, China, uk, Canada and india

I use Telstra for mobile an internet and find them ok. We now have NBN on Russell Island which makes internet a little more reliable. Depending on where you are located on the island, you may find Optus better in some areas, Telstra in others. Good luck with move.
